Stone by stone

Upwards it grows, a bit at a time. It's back-breaking work, what with all the squatting and shovelling and lifting, but rewarding too. I do need photos to see the progress, though, because it's too gradual to appreciate when I'm immersed in the work.

    It must be the season. We've been working on building a BBQ/pizza oven/smoker. It's not as pretty as yours with the rocks. Can't wait til it's done to try it, though.

    Looking great Miranda. Well done with collecting all the rocksl. Doesn't it feel good when able to collect most of the materials locally and for free...and think of the healthy biceps!
