Mind you, the unaccustomed summer heat slowed us Scots down. Now I'm not. Endurance exercise for me is walking up and down the stairs more than once a day. But I love the idea of C25K. I think I could do 5K again, joyfully, but I suspect my 20 K days are gone. :)ipsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01180832647715611790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314881.post-60975373393385993112009-03-29T07:49:00.000-07:002009-03-29T07:49:00.000-07:00I'm glad you are enjoying it! Quite a few people I know are giving c25k a try. I think the program is fantastic. I mean who would have thought, a complete non-runner, in fact one who always hated running, could turn into a person who not only CAN run 40 minutes non-stop (which I can do now even though according to the program I should only be going 28 minutes), but actually a person who enjoys doing it! C25K is the only reason this happened. I would never have done it on my own. I would have gone out too hard, made myself feel like crap, remembered why I hated running, and given up. End of story.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10235522494694453424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314881.post-10424385151780010362009-03-29T07:36:00.000-07:002009-03-29T07:36:00.000-07:00Hmm, I'm still at the attached nursling stage. I have the "I have to" feeling about choir, and the similar inability to get to actually singing. Thank God for violin! Last lesson both pupil and teacher were breastfeeding during the lesson. :) And one day, when one of my children can be left, and 2 can come along, I will restart choir.Beccyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09105307933461445709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314881.post-83152064872011962502009-03-28T07:28:00.000-07:002009-03-28T07:28:00.000-07:00Yay good for you!Yay good for you!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17148209873965912755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314881.post-39770554728449822552009-03-28T07:25:00.000-07:002009-03-28T07:25:00.000-07:00Ah that sounds really nice. I had a very long break after making it to the sixth week, but I've been working my way back to it over the last two weeks and it's fantastic! I haven't ventured outside yet, but that's the next step for me. I'm hoping to outrun our dog when I next take her to the local track for a run!!!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10342055265414788942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6314881.post-56729632309885903512009-03-28T03:40:00.000-07:002009-03-28T03:40:00.000-07:00Inspiring! I have never run before, and I still haven't been on an outside run yet but I did manage to run for 10 minutes straight twice this week and I'm pretty excited about it. I look forward to watching your progressJacquelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12268284552273860414noreply@blogger.com
